interesting new posting format.
yesterday i ate popcorn AND an ice-cream cone. i figure i'm entitled, since i lost weight last month. yup. my belly is getting bigger and bigger, but i went down 5 pounds last month. it must be all the sitting & reading. keep it up, me.
the midwife told me that eating too much sugar causes babies to grow larger than they need to be, which fucks up delivery. after hearing my co-worker samuel tell me in gruesome detail about his wife's 48-hour labour to produce a 9-pound son, you can bet that i'm staying away from the candy bars.
also, i read yesterday that my breast milk is so poisoned by hormones & pesticides that it could not be sold commercially. i find this a bit of a relief - the temptation to turn pro was getting excruciating.
