It's a long, long road trip that has no turning...

Driving since 10:30 a.m. Great time - all the way to Edmonston. The car started smoking around Nakawic & stalled out on the road to the campgrounds. Four helpful chain-smoking locals gave us a hand as well as a few quarts of oil. Apparently the fan's been f'd & our transmission line is leaking. Faaaaack. Still, nothing to do but see what tomorrow will bring.

The campground is gorgeous. Our backyard is a little rapids - great white noise! And it's so neat to see the tilt in Tenty disappear! We got so used to the tilt last weekend that we now feel somewhat like the earth itself has shifted rather than the tent. This, by the way, is my second Sunday in a row in a tent. Whee!

Today the driving was beautiful: clear, sunny & warm (not hot). Ceilidh's been good. Much less (read: no) work done on my papers, though. Ah well. Tomorrow is another day, and if the car goes, that's good enough for me.
