Scott as Christ: an exhaustive photo essay of The Death & Burial of Christ The wagon rolls into the space in front of the first audience. The black-clad guy squinting back was one of the B&D soldiers from an earlier play. He wore fishnets stockings & combat boots all day (rowr!). Brett (the math doctor) is dressed as Joseph of Aramathea on the far left.

The cross is slotted into the wagon (I told you it was an exhaustive essay). You can just see Scott's head & bare shoulders overtop the green-clad gentleman crouching in the foreground...a brief taste of the loincloth party to come!

Scott rather awkwardly ascends to where he'll be taunted & crucified in a few short minutes. You can see the joy written in every line of his out-of-focus body. (Note: Scott tends to be visually sharper in real life)

Let the crucifixion begin!

The conspirators responsible for the crucifixion skulk & plan in the shadows while I hope for the best & use an autofocus camera to take a lovely clear picture of the banister between us.

"Woman, cease thy lamentations." Perhaps you've noticed that Mary Mother of God has yet to look up from her little book the entire play. This is because she over-committed & failed to learn her lines. I was particularly bitter because an exam prevented me from trying out for the role. Did I hear snickering? C'mon people! Everything about me screams "merciful mother of god"!
