Web Design: over the past 3 years I have hosted, designed, and maintained several Web sites. At present I am upgrading my design skills to include Macromedia Flash, Allaire ColdFusion, VBscript, and ASP. Over time I have been gearing my skill set toward e-commerce applications.
Graphic Design: I hold a degree in studio art and have 5 years experience working with the Adobe Photoshop software. I am also familiar with Illustrator, the Corel Draw suite and Macromedia Fireworks, as well as a myriad of various graphics utilities and plugins.
Software Development: I have 2.5 years experience developing commercial software products, designing graphic user interfaces, and mastering CD-ROMs for distribution. I am most proficient with Inprise Delphi, but have a growing fondness for Java.
Digital Audio Design: I have one professional audio design credit on a commercial product. I am familiar with most studio software available on the market and have three years experience in university working with sound.
Administrative Tasks: I have experience dealing directly with professional clients via telephone and email. I have strong leadership and communication abilities and am an efficient manager for small teams of developers. I am familiar with the MS Office suite.

Magus Entertainment is a management company serving the southwest Chicago area. I acted as their primary technical adviser in telecommunication concerns and aided one of their clients with MIDI engineering and lighting. |
| The relationship with Clear Light began with the authoring of data processing software for their accounting system. Following, I became the company’s primary technical consultant. The bulk of the consulting work took the form of purchasing and building computer systems. In August 98, I started design of a CTI (computer telephony information) system that included call tracking, transferring, blocking, payroll, and a caller information database. Other tasks included personnel training and web site design. |
| Aztech publishes software on CD-ROM for North American and European markets. Tasks included design of graphic user interfaces, software installers, graphics design, CD-ROM mastering, and building computers. | I hosted, designed and maintained a Web site for Pleazure Promotions. The Web site functioned as an advertisement platform for upcoming events as well as a catalogue of previous events. In January ’99 I could no longer maintain the site due to scheduling concerns. All of the work for Pleazure was done remotely, from Toronto. |
| WESTEC is a service provider for traveling theatre and concert productions as well as local and university events. WESTEC employed me in the installation, operation, removal, and maintenance of lighting and sound systems in large and small theatres, indoors and out. I graduated to crew leader and finally senior technician in my last year. WESTEC served the Western Illinois University campus. Education: BA Studio Art, painting focus, granted from Western Illinois University 1994 with a minor in technical theatre. I was a member of the chess club and the university gaming club. My knowledge of computers is self-taught through books, help files and Internet based resources. I gladly accept instruction when available.
Interests and Activities: I enjoy strategy games such as Chess, Go, & Shogi. When time permits, I run or play role-playing games. I read, write, draw, paint, make prints from time to time, study manuscript illumination and Celtic design, travel, hike, and try to catch formula-1 races on TV. I am an amateur DJ into electronic dance music.
Shameless Self-Promotion: I consider myself to be intelligent, friendly, energetic, creative, and flexible. I work well in a team or on my own. I am resourceful at finding answers to my questions. I'm curious and hard working, a valuable asset to my employer.
