Today's I AM CANADIAN homily, brought to you by Dav...

Good heavens, it's hot. Spring was late in coming this year, and over the past few days it's felt like the season was making up for lost time. But today we slammed abruptly into summer. Whilst finishing up our tent pole, I was bitten no fewer than 5 times - 4 on the feet, 1 on the back of the neck. It must be the copious amount of sweat I've been producing, as I gave up on girly scents when I moved out of the city. Stupid bugs. On days like this I want to nuke 'em into next year and never mind the silent spring. Ugh. I hate it when Nature conspires against my environmentalist leanings.

Still, if I can stand to wear clothes, it's not as bad as it could be. In the summer of 99 I gave up underwear altogether. Stupid Toronto heat waves. We're moving back why?

Everything that can be done for this year's StanFest is done. Tomorrow we launch. I can't wait!
