...be the folk you want to see in the world...

Camp Hedonism is cold and damp, and really not very hedonistic.
But we do have that boss flag from Stacy.

The Boy in Tenty: very cute.

The title of this picture is "Stephen Socks," which has a certain beauty & joy. This documents the
creation of the sock string, our way of combating the trench foot created by four continuously wet
days. Tenty took on the odour of socks and the socks themselves did not dry one bit.

They may be wet, but they are happy boys! I think this photo was taken shortly after one of the
singers praised a boat, because "if it weren't for the Corvettes, we'd all be speaking German now!"
This statement sent us into gales of laughter as we racked our brains for some German phrase to
shout at the stage. Ech bein ein auslander!

We don't want to get out of Tenty! Isn't it still night until it stops raining?!

Me, so very happy that the sun finally decided to come out & play. My feet are dry for the first
time in 2 days - hence the goofy grin. Notice also the pink studded collar; my Convergence passport
to recognition & french fries.

Tanya Tagaq Gillis, a beautiful solo throat singer, percusses along with a really excellent raga.
There's something so stirring about sitting in Eastern Nova Scotia while two barefoot Indians unfold
something mysterious, complex & wonderful and a gorgeous Inuit woman in a pink fringed minidress
hoots & growls along.

Two boys in the camp collected all of the bottle caps they could. There is a lot of drinking at
StanFest - and this was one result.

A view of the main stage site from Tenty's backyard.

All together now - boys in the tent, girl in shadow. Happy as a clam on our last night.
